How to create best pagination components?
Define how results are paged. Give an example page count, the current page, and the kind of content being browsed. Tell the AI whether you need numbered pages, previous and next actions, or a compact pager.
Make the current position clear. Specify active, unavailable, and overflow states. Ask for a compact arrangement that remains understandable when there are many pages.
Check the edge cases. Compare the first page, last page, and a page in the middle. Review mobile spacing and make sure navigation labels are still meaningful without surrounding context.
