{"id":172,"date":"2019-02-01T10:03:51","date_gmt":"2019-02-01T10:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bootstrapshuffle.com\/blog\/?p=172"},"modified":"2019-02-01T10:03:52","modified_gmt":"2019-02-01T10:03:52","slug":"is-our-product-heading-in-the-right-direction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shuffle.dev\/blog\/2019\/02\/is-our-product-heading-in-the-right-direction\/","title":{"rendered":"Is our product heading in the right direction?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">The best method of validating a product is to acquire paying customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">But what if you already have paying customers, and you want to be REALLY sure that your product is heading in the right direction? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">Check if you have paying customers, who overcome the EXTRA obstacles to buy your product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">We have such infamous examples in Bootstrap Shuffle:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"list-decimal mb-4\"><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">A Chinese user, who tried to buy a subscription through VPN (ultimately blocked by PayPal).<\/li><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">Users who moved from a ($6\/month) subscription to a ($60) license.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">Why is the second example so crucial? Because to do that today, you have to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">(Remember that we started 2 months ago!) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"list-decimal mb-4\"><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">Check that you can&#8217;t do that in the interface.  <\/li><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">Write to the support@ with a question, what to do in this situation.  <\/li><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">In response, you will receive a message that moving from a subscription to a license is not yet available in the interface. BUT if you really care, you can: <ol class=\"list-decimal mb-4\"><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">cancel a PayPal <g class=\"gr_ gr_35 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_hide gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace replaceWithoutSep replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"35\" data-gr-id=\"35\">subscription  <\/g><\/li><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\"><g class=\"gr_ gr_35 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_hide gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Style multiReplace replaceWithoutSep replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"35\" data-gr-id=\"35\">create<\/g> a new account with a made-up e-mail,  <\/li><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">pay for a full license ($60!), <\/li><li class=\"mb-2 ml-8\">write about it to us, and we will connect your old and new account. <\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">During last week, two users went through this procedure! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-1 wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped\" class=\"list-disc mb-4\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\" class=\"mb-2 ml-8\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1169\" height=\"296\" src=\"https:\/\/bootstrapshuffle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/cancel.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"174\" data-link=\"https:\/\/bootstrapshuffle.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=174\" class=\"wp-image-174\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\"><strong>To be honest, until they applied for <\/strong><g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\"><strong><g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\">support<\/g><\/strong><\/g><strong> I didn&#8217;t assume that such a situation will take place (so soon).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-6 leading-loose\">As a Product <g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">Owner<\/g> your main goal should be to remove these obstacles!
